No experience necessary! $20 pay at the door. Class is 90 minutes with social time afterward.

If full monty is a little too much, undies are totally acceptable but I do hope this invitation encourages you to explore the edges of your comfort zone. This class is Queer, Trans and Feminist friendly.
When to Arrive: Doors open at 2pm and the class will start promptly at 2:05pm. After that, the doors will close so we can maintain a safe container. Come in a grab a space. Class is an hour and a half. After class, spend some time to chill and visit.

Although this is at an adult venue, we will not be engaging in any adult activities. Please, check your intentions. This is not a space to get creepy. If you find your intentions are something other than yoga, I invite you to make a shift that can support a safe, courageous space for all. This class is designed for YOU and your experience where we can collectively take a journey through liberation toward self-discovery, compassion, and empowerment. There will be a social after the class, so feel free to stick around to chat.
What to Bring: Yoga mat and a bottle of water. Optional: A towel. A blanket if you tend to get chilly while in savasana. Blocks are also recommended. We are working on getting a set of blocks in the future.

The instructor: my name is Sonja. I’ve been a practitioner of yoga for 17 years. Last year, I moved to India to study yoga in its purest form; from the better known poses in depth, to energetic cultivation practices and the influence they have on our entire lives. I earned 500 teacher training hours in Tantra, Himalayan and prenatal yoga.
I offer one on one sessions and currently volunteer as a yoga instructor.
I am also earning my Masters in Expressive Arts Therapy as a Marriage and Family therapist. My intention is to incorporate yoga as a therapeutic technique for many purposes.
