Devil's Doorbell: The ABC's of Anal

WOMXN ONLY!

September 17th 2019, The Devil’s Doorbell brings you Portland’s only monthly womxn’s exclusive play party event! We present you The ABC’s of ANAL with Gretchen Leigh!

Come as you are and ready to participate at whatever level feels right for you! If you are here to get your booty rocked, awesome! If you are here for more information on whether or not this is a play space you want to explore, welcome!

YOUR PLAY BAGS are STRONGLY encouraged, especially your dildos and strap ons. We will be honored with Gretchen Leigh’s skillful coaching and your preparation will be rewarded!

Gretchen Leigh is an educator, personal trainer, athlete, model, advocate, and performer, dedicated to helping people find the confluence of physical, mental, and sexual health. Though she has made a name for herself in the sex ed world with classes like "Ass Like That" and "Fellatio 2.0" she maintains a passion for health education, and is currently the go-to resource for many on sex after cancer, pelvic floor health, and more. Her multi-disciplinary style is distinctly comfortable, humorous, interactive, and trauma-informed.

You won’t want to miss this night. Tell your friends, share the event, and come with an open heart!

*This event is for all self identified womxn. This group is following the path of other inclusive womxn’s groups in the Portland community and believes the following statement from the Bad Girls leather group to be a fitting and “broad definition for self-identified women: (...) inclusive of cisgender, transgender, and intersex women, along with gender expansive individuals who find home within women’s spaces. This can include gender non-conforming, agender, two-spirit, butch, femme, and many other identities.
An expanded definition of the term “gender expansive” can be found in the gender statement of the WFTDA.”

http://pdxbadgirls.net

https://wftda.org/wftda-gender-statement

There is an introduction period that establishes your respected pronouns. We go over topics exploring female sexuality and connection. Consent culture is established and required at every event at all times. Relationship/identity/belief shaming is not tolerated. If you are in transition, you are welcome. We will work hard to create a safe space for everyone’s skill and comfort levels. Your engagement is strictly at your own pace and preference. PM Gracie Dillree if you have any questions, concerns, or comments; we want to hear from you.

Game Bang! Cuddle Puddle

Game Bang! Cuddle Puddle

You wanted all the games. You played all the games.

Your amazing hosts will lead you through a variety of games. The games will change week to week but will probably include Janky Jenga and Cards Against Humanity!

For Game Bang Cuddle Puddle, spaces will be provided for platonic cuddling. These will be non-sexual spaces... hard as that is to believe at Sanctuary.

Welcome to Game Bang!
...where we play a variety of sexy games while making connections with a variety of sexy people!
Most games at Game Bang! Feature stripping, cuddling, kissing, stroking, and all manner of fun “truth or dare” type aspects. Due to the intimate and vulnerable nature of interacting physically with humans one might not know very well, there are a few extra guidelines we ask you to follow while having fun.

$10 per person
Open to all (21+) in the sex-positive, LGBTQ+ community and their allies. Guest list hidden for your privacy. Enter on Ninth.

General Guidelines and Etiquette:

1. We want everyone to feel empowered and safe in Sanctuary. To facilitate a comfortable atmosphere, please let us know if you feel uncomfortable. We have a lot of experience and success moving forward through communication and teaching the consent process. Please keep in mind that even the most well intentioned person can make a mistake around consent.

2. Social dares are not mandatory, and pressuring others to participate is very discouraged.

3. In fact, NO DARE is mandatory. Rules exist to facilitate games and provide opportunities for fun and connection, but are not expected to be followed verbatim. Ask your hosts for suggestions if you don’t feel like doing something as written.

4. Always put power into the hands of the most vulnerable person in any interaction! (Example: “Where would you like to be touched?” instead of “Where can I touch?”)

5. Be mindful of the physical, mental and emotional state of others. Perhaps someone has had a family emergency recently, had a bad day, or are simply feeling extra vulnerable today. Sometimes these things happen during the evening. Just because someone did something once, does not give implied consent in the future.

6. In line with mindfulness, remember that many people on game nights know each other or have met before. If you see an intimate interaction between others where consent is not clearly communicated, it does not give anyone else permission to do the same. Always assume that others have communicated consent. If you have concerns, please bring them to your hosts and they will look into it.

7. Please do not suggest others try things you want them to do. If someone seems confused or needs help on a choice, help them through empowerment. Find out what it is they want and encourage them to do it.

Quink! at Sanctuary

Quink! at Sanctuary

A night devoted to queer kinksters and allies. This is a play party first and foremost, but there will be performances at 9:30 to kick off the night. $15 before 10pm. $20 after 10pm

This is a play party for anyone and everyone queer/gay/bi/pan/trans/fluid. Curious and exploring folks encouraged to attend. We aim to make a fully inclusive space for BDSM play and kinky socializing.

Play is encouraged but never expected nor promised to you simply because you attend. We will have several folks offering “tastings” at this event – short scenes involving rope, impact play, spanking, and other activities for those looking to try something new with someone experienced – these folks do accept tips. We also have a boot black who will be there shining and polishing your leathers and boots – suggested donation for boot black starts at $10.

Dress code: Fetish attire is encouraged. Leather, latex, lingerie, uniforms, pupwear, petwear, furry onesies, sexy ensembles, or rainbow holographic glitter sparkles! Wear your fetish, hanky code, or kinky signals – it makes it easier to meet folks for pick-up play. Note: no racist or fascist symbols are allowed in the club.

Gear, supplies, and play areas: the club has several spanking benches, hard points for suspension (must be pre-approved by DMs), one St. Andrews Cross, several beds in the play rooms, and many couches where scenes may occur. The club provides cleaning, safer sex supplies, nitrile gloves, and replacement sheets for the beds. Restraints for fetish furniture or other toys are not provided.

Accessibility: Sanctuary does have an elevator and we will work to make the space accessible to all. If you have any special requirements or questions about the space please reach out to organizer. This is a club environment so it does tend to be darker lighting in the play areas. We aim to keep the music from being overly loud or energetic to encourage play and create a sensual space. The room next to the stage tends to be louder as it is closer to the DJ booth.

Rules of Engagement:
• Attendees will respect and obey the Dungeon Monitors, organizers, security and Sanctuary staff and follow the rules and instructions.
• No blood play, urine play, hot wax, vomit, scat, fire, knife play, guns, breath control or games involving breath control. The DMs will end scenes including these actions.
• No drugs or outside alcohol allowed.
• No audio or video recording devices are allowed.
• Cell phones may only be used outside or in the outer hallway. NO PHOTOS INSIDE ALLOWED. If we see you using your phone or camera in the club you will be told to put it away, if we see you taking photos you will be asked to leave.
• Limit your play scenes to 45 mins as to allow time for others to play.
• Clean furniture and play equipment before and after scenes.
• Long whips, single tails, or other long implements should be avoided in smaller play areas due to space limitations – there is a central floor area where this could work, but when crowded, these scenes should be avoided entirely unless space is clear and the crowd is being managed.
• Do not move play furniture without discussing with DM first.
• CONSENT CONSENT CONSENT. Consent is enthusiastically given and can be withdrawn at any time. Do not touch another person or their property without their explicit permission. No means no. Do not get pushy or aggressive. This behavior will be grounds for being asked to leave the club.
• Do not interrupt scenes. Do not get too close to play scenes or ask to be involved. Folks part of an active scene should not be approached whatsoever.
• Aggressive cruising will not be tolerated. Be aware of the space and energy you are taking when you hover or get near a play scene.
• If you feel someone is misbehaving, being aggressive, or making you or someone else feel uncomfortable, please let the DMs and organizers know ASAP and we will do what we can to talk to them or have them removed.
• Use of the word “safeword” is a call for assistance. DMs and/or other experienced players will intervene and come to your aid when they hear it. Please do not misuse or abuse this serious call for help.

General Guidelines and Etiquette:

1. We want everyone to feel empowered and safe in Sanctuary. To facilitate a comfortable atmosphere, please let us know if you feel uncomfortable. Luv Hurtz - September

Luv Hurtz - September

Luv Hurtz is a Fetish Night & Play Party the first Saturday of each month at Sanctuary.

▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄

The party welcomes a mix of both kink and lifestyle (swinger) so can get pretty intimate. All genders and orientations are welcome so long as you are 21 & over with legal ID (there is a bar serving alcohol). Given the nightclub environment, please be respectful & tolerant of different views ... if there is any issue, notify a Party Host or Dungeon Monitor.

▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄

There are multiple suspension hardpoints, spanking benches, crosses, and other areas available for play or dance to the delicious music - the entire club is open for your enjoyment. While the club allows sex on premises, there is no guarantee of sex! Treat others with kindness & respect and always get enthusiastic consent.

The party is great for the experienced, the curious, exhibitionists, and voyeurs. If interested in learning more about something during the party, ask a Party Host or Dungeon Monitor. Because of the diversity of those attending, this party is not appropriate for extreme/edgy kink play. Please consider carefully before engaging in play that might be traumatic if there is an inadvertent interruption.

Plan for a crowd and leave toys which require a lot of space (long whips, etc) at home. While the club has some limited space for toy bag storage the best plan is to bring just what you expect to use and to utilize the coat check. Please keep scenes to a reasonable duration so that others have a chance to play as well and move aftercare to a couch whenever possible (multiple scenes during the night are fine, so long as you break between each so that others have the opportunity to use the space).

▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄

Photos are only taken of those who have obtained and are wearing a photo consent wristband. A few weeks after the party all photos will be posted to a password protected shared gallery online - the password to the gallery is printed on the wristband for that month's party. Game Bang

Game Bang

Welcome to Game Bang!
...where we play a variety of sexy games while making connections with a variety of sexy people!
Most games at Game Bang! Feature stripping, cuddling, kissing, stroking, and all manner of fun “truth or dare” type aspects. Due to the intimate and vulnerable nature of interacting physically with humans one might not know very well, there are a few extra guidelines we ask you to follow while having fun.

Game Bang is a weekly game night at Sanctuary. Come nerd out with your fellow kinksters. The games will change week to week but will probably include Janky Jenga and Cards Against Humanity. Feel free to bring your own games too!

Only $10. 21+, LGBTQ+, ADA
Sanctuary is located at 33 NW 9th Ave above Splash Bar, enter on 9th.

DRESS CODE:

This is a party to encourage and fuel fem tops and those who are interested in being submissive to them. We aim to be inclusive while encouraging attendees to dress the part, this is to create a safe space for this community to explore. We are looking to avoid gawkers or entitled dude tourists.
