Make Me: Consensual Bratting in Power Exchange

July 14 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Presented by Spanktuary Education

Scarlet (she/her) and Ron (they/them) are thrilled to teach about a subject near and dear to their hearts: bratting. This workshop will aid those on either side of the slash to better understand bratting (and yes, tops can be brats too) and how to successfully negotiate a scene that involves a complicated power exchange structure.

$10 cash, $12 CC
Please make an effort! Fetishwear, all-black, and lingerie are all encouraged. Work clothes, athletic wear, shorts, caps and street clothes are discouraged.

There are many misconceptions about brats and what it’s like to play with one, so the goal of this workshop is to provide resources and ideas for brats and brat tamers to feel more comfortable approaching play and D/s dynamics. The workshop will cover the types of bratting, consent, negotiation, and ideas for play.

Ron Swanson is a queer, nonbinary, butch sadist and Dominant whose primary interests are rope, impact, and power exchange, but they’re really a try-anything-thrice type of guy. Ron’s background in the mental health field informs their desire to “hurt not harm” and to create space with partners that is as physically, emotionally, and psychologically safe as possible.

Scarlet (she/her) is a bratty bottom-leaning switch from Portland, Oregon. She is queer, fat, and full of sass. She loves to bring joy into others’ lives through baked goods, creating phenomenal spreadsheets, and generally being adorable. Scarlet is passionate about equity and intersectionality in kink and loves to play with people of all genders and abilities. She has found a home and chosen family in the Portland kink community and is committed to continual learning.
