May 7 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm
We can only accommodate those with reserved seats tonight. Thank you for understanding.
*No one actually has to be naked for naked karaoke. We just like the name.
Sing your heart out and your pants off as karaoke returns to Sanctuary featuring DJ Marianu.
$10. 21+
Portland is still in Phase 1. Masks are required except when eating, drinking or performing. Singing will be limited to the stage area with a 10-foot perimeter.
**Sanctuary complies with all of Gov. Brown’s and OSHA/OHA’s Covid-19 guidelines. Tables are limited to 6 people. Max of 50 attendees. If you have any Covid-19 symptoms, please stay home. If you violate OSHA/OHA/OLCC rules, you will be asked to leave**
**”But I was vaccinated/already infected/can’t wear my mask/blah blah blah” — We don’t care. Everyone will be expected to follow OHA guidelines.**
It is STRONGLY recommended that you reserve your spot ahead of time: [email protected]
Reservations are held until 7 p.m.Due to social distancing and capacity concerns, we may not be able to accommodate singles.
How its done: You may have been told that karaoke was illegal or banned. That was never true. OSHA simply requires that the OHA guidelines are met.
Each singer will get a mic from the Clean Bucket and then the mic will be placed in the Dirty Bucket. We have a bucket load of mics. Singing will be limited to the stage area with a 10-foot perimeter. Each singer will receive a clear face shield that must be used while singing. The KJ will remain behind the plastic shield while airflow is directed outside past the HEPA filter.
For an FAQ of what to expect during Phase 1, please visit our walk though at www.pdxsanctuary.com
You must wear masks except when eating or drinking IN YOUR SEAT. Please dance in your seat. Please do not line up inside for the bar or bathrooms.
Sanctuary is 21+, LGBTQ+, ADA, anti-racism, and celebrates diversity.
*FULL DISCLOSURE: After weeks of daily communication with OSHA and OLCC, Sanctuary & Candy were given approval for its Covid protocols. Some people are under the mistaken belief that karaoke is prohibited. It is not and never was. Reading is good. So is consulting OSHA compliance agents. Mental health can be just as important as physical and we believe karaoke is a perfect socially-distanced activity.
So, to all the Karens that keep reporting us because they saw an event on the internet they couldn’t understand, please get a life. You’re just slowing state agents from going after places that don’t take Covid-19 seriously
Rooms, equipment, and play rules are otherwise normal for the current phase
