Art show: Wild Side of the Box, Cardboard Art by Bayo

April 5 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Sanctuary is extremely proud to host one-of-a-kind, visionary artist Bayo Aart!

Bayo works in a cardboard medium to create unique sculptures and apparel.

Bayo’s Bio: Im a non-conformist artist. My medium of choice is recycled cardboard because of its accessibility and low cost. But most of all, it questions the traditional materials used in sculptures. I believe that art has the power to educate, inspire, and heal — and the healing component lies in the simplest materials. “Wild Side of the Box” is a collection of mostly erotic art created using recycled cardboard. Using unconventional materials can help us think about art, bodies, and sex outside the limits we’re usually within. If you’re not outside the box, how can you see all its sides? I believe I found the wild side of the box and I invite you to come explore it with me.

Join me at Sanctuary for an evening of playful eroticism and creativity… outside the box!
