Impact Improv (Or, You Can Hit People With Almost Anything)

This class is intended to teach those interested in impact how to evaluate objects for impact play; particularly odd objects, random pick-ups, or even the toys of a new partner that you’ve never seen before. This isn’t about how to flog, or throw a whip, or use a paddle. It is a framework for all of those types of impact, how to evaluate the Rigidity, Density, Focal Area of a given object when it comes to impact. It includes some discussion of risk and risk mitigation, impact as edge play, and psychological elements of creating a fun impact experience.

Bio:
HedonisticUrge is a dominant with two decades of experience in the scene. He’s tried most of it, seen more than he’s tried, and has heard of pretty much all the rest. His primary interest is in D/s dynamics involving control via humiliation, degradation, and objectification. He uses a style of dominance that is masculine, nurturing, and involves positive reinforcement. He loves doing fucked up shit with fucked up people. He took up rope five years ago, and practices weekly to improve his skill, share what he’s learned with others, and improve his own rope in turn. He’s also fond of violet wands and impact. He enjoys helping others on their own journey.
